POLICIES OF THE DOG PLACE
All dogs are required to:
- Undergo a temperament evaluation by our trained staff before we can allow them in daycare and boarding. You may be ask to have your dog at daycare before they are accepted for boarding.
- Provide current records from veterinarian of up-to-date vaccinations and licenses. These include Rabies, Distemper and Bordatella. This information must be provided prior to your dogs evaluation for day care.
- All dogs must be spayed or neutered by seven months of age. Puppies must be at least 16 weeks old (puppies must complete all puppy boosters for their age before coming in for a temperament test). Rabies, Distemper and Bordetella are required.
- All dogs must be on year round heartworm medication and flea-preventative.
- All dogs must come to day care with a collar, proper tags, and a leash.
- A collar that is properly fit so the dog cannot slip out of it while coming to or leaving day care.
- During Holidays and Peak times a $100 non-refundable deposit required per dog to secure a boarding reservation. We also require a 2 night minimum stay during Holidays and Peak times. Space will not be reserved until this non-refundable fee is paid.
- Any early pick ups will be charged full price for days reserved at time of booking.
- If your dog has not been at The Dog Place in over a year, you are required to schedule a daycare session prior to their boarding.
All owners must have their dogs under control on a leash when entering or leaving the facility.
